China, Pakistan need to foster collaboration in irrigation technology
Islamabad: China and Pakistan need to strengthen #agricultural collaboration, focusing on advanced seed technology and irrigation techniques., said Ghous Bux Khan Maher, MNA while briefing the media outside Parliament House on Wednesday.
Ghous Bux Khan visited #China along with a multiparty delegation of seven parliamentarians, the first parliamentary delegation to do so after the COVID crisis.
The year 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the launch of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a flagship project under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) a multibillion dollar connectivity and cooperation project.
The #CPEC project highlights energy, agriculture, transportation, and industrial cooperation and has created an estimated 236,000 jobs by the end of 2022, according to official sources.
