World Bank to give $535mln to Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The World Bank has announced that it will give $535 million to Pakistan to two undertakings pointed toward relieving the impacts of climate change and working on the country’s farming area, ARY News revealed.

As per the authority articulation by the World Bank, the main task, worth $400 million, will zero in on lessening the effect of climate change in Pakistan, especially in the farming area.

The funds will be utilized to further develop crop yields and shield the area from the impacts of climate change.

The subsequent undertaking, worth $135 million, will mean to further develop the animals area in Sindh, making it stronger to climate change.

This monetary help from the World Bank will uphold Pakistan’s endeavors to address the difficulties presented by climate change and advance economical farming practices.

Prior on June 11, in a significant help for the country’s evil economy, World Bank (WB) endorsed Rs1 billion for Pakistan.

The World Bank supported $1 billion for the development of Dasu Dam.
