Islamabad:Pakistan Gathering of Exploration in Water Assets (PCRWR) has proclaimed 20 brands of jug water hazardous for human utilization due to microbiological or synthetic defilement.
For the second quarter of the year 2023 (April to June), the PCRWR gathered 169 examples of mineral/filtered water brands from 20 urban communities, said a public statement gave here Monday. Eleven brands were found dangerous because of presence of elevated degree of TDS than as far as possible.
Additionally, one brand was risky because of the presence of elevated degree of potassium than as far as possible, and six brands were seen as tainted with microorganisms. Also, four brands were viewed as defiled with elevated degrees of arsenic.
