Winners of Pakistan Gender Climate Award 2024 announced
On the eve the Worldwide Ladies’ Day (Walk 8), the Consulate of France and Agence Agence Française de Développement (AFD), the European Association Assignment, the Consulate of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Civil Society Coalition for Climate Change (CSCCC), have reported the champs of the second release of the Orientation Climate Grant.
The champs of the Pakistan Orientation Climate Grant 2024 are: Qandeel Rehman, (Climate Activity), Umbreen Arif (Green Business), and Khalida Niaz (Youthful Climate News-casting).
The goal of the honor is to feature ladies’ responsibility and authority in the battle against climate change under three classifications: climate activity, green business, and youthful climate reporting.
The honor service will happen on 8 May 2024 to respect the victors.
As per a public statement gave here Thursday, every champ will get PKR 1.2 million to propel her action and utilize the assets to develop the orientation climate nexus in their space of work.
The Pakistan Orientation Climate Grant 2024 looks to focus a light on Pakistani ladies and perceive their authority and commitment as equivalent accomplices in change. The dynamic and creative ladies of Pakistan work in different fields going from common society to the scholarly community, science to media, business and then some.
The honor is intended to feature the way that climate change isn’t sexually unbiased.
It influences ladies and young ladies excessively, enhancing existing imbalances. With obvious variations in an open door and access, climate change can adversely affect ladies’ jobs, as well as their wellbeing and prosperity.
