Monsoon Tree Planting Campaign 2024 Kicks Off in Gidderpur Forest Range
The Monsoon Tree Planting Campaign 2024 was celebrated today in the village of Chirya, located within the Gidderpur Forest Range. The event was organized by Female Community Development Officer Rizwana Shaheen, in collaboration with Ayesha Abrar, a GIS specialist from the Agror Tanawal Forest Division in Mansehra.
As part of the campaign, 50 chir plants were distributed to local participants and villagers, emphasizing the importance of reforestation and environmental conservation. In addition to the distribution, five chir trees were ceremoniously planted during the event.
The event was graced by Miss Rukhsana, a Lady Health Worker, who attended as the Chief Guest. Her presence highlighted the community’s collective effort to promote sustainability and ecological awareness.
The Monsoon Tree Planting Campaign aims to encourage local participation in afforestation efforts, ensuring a greener and more sustainable future for the region.
