Directives issued to build inflow of water from Sukkur Barrage

HYDERABAD: Chief Hyderabad Division Ahsan Ali Qureshi has said that orders have been given to water system Office to build the inflow of water from Sukkur Blast to downstream to adapt to the lack of water and increment the standard of drinking water for Hyderabad residents.

He expressed this while directing a gathering at his office about the lack of water in Indus Stream and survey the expanded degree of TDS in drinking water. “Water inflow will arrive at in seven days from Sukkur flood to Kotri blast, this will relieve the shortage of water at downstream “he said. He further added that he has rigorously passed the orders to stop the inflow of stale water from Manchar Lake right away and WASA and water system Division would screen it.

He further said that water system Division and WASA sit together and cut out a pertinent arrangement for protected and solid drinking water.
