Join #DigitalWaterSummit in #Bilbao, #Spain, to Broaden Knowledge on Water Sector Digitalisation

Islamabad: IWA Digital Water Summit 2022, the popular summit and exhibition, designed for the advancement of the digitalisation of the global water sector, will be held from 29 November – 02 December, 2022 at Euskalduna Conference Centre and Concert Hallm, Bilbao, Spain.

Under the tagline “Join the transformation journey” #DigitalWaterSummit 2022 is supported by International Water Association.

The global event invites all stakeholders involved in the water sector digitalisation, from business to industry, from water technology providers to water utilities to discuss and shape the agenda of this first edition of the summit.

According to official sources, digital water policy makers, utility executives and leading experts from around the globe will join the event. From big data solutions to advanced management of the distribution network to digital customer engagement programs, nearly all utilities will be the topics of summit aimed to focus on the digital transformation journey. According to organizers, while the transformation is not always easy, with ageing infrastructure, inadequate investment, changing climate and demographics, digital water is now seen not as an ‘option’ but as an imperative.

The event includes a high-class exhibition and has a focus on business and industry, while technology providers and water utilities will be some of the key participants that will discuss and shape the agenda of the Summit. The programme includes plenary sessions, interactive discussions, side events, exhibition, technical visits, and social events.

The summit is co-organized by the water utility in the region (Consorcio de Aguas Bilbao Bizkaia) and the IWA Governing Member in Spain (AEAS).
