IIUI Holds Discussion on Pakistan’s Weakness to Climate Change
ISLAMABAD: A Conference held at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) on Wednesday addressed Pakistan’s weakness to climate change and the pressing need to teach residents, especially the young, on its effect and moderation procedures.
The Institute of Provincial Management, as a team with the Human Asset Improvement Organization, and the Rustic Help Program Organization, facilitated a discussion under the subject of ‘Climate Education: Teach, Supporter, and Act’.
The occasion met a different crowd, including government authorities, experts, teachers, understudies, and community individuals.
Regarded specialists, including Dr. Roomi S. Hayat, Chief, IRM, and Executive, IUCN-PNC, Dr. Tariq Cheema, Leader Country Representative of Pakistan and Afghanistan from Land, Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Senior member, Sociologies Division, IIUI, Dr. Noor Fatima, Director, IR and Political Theories Division, IIUI, and Dr. Ghulam Ali, Director, IBCC, Service of Government Schooling and Expert Preparation), participated in provocative conversation in the occasion.
Dr. Roomi S. Hayat shared how climate schooling could be taken to rustic and underestimated communities in Pakistan.
Hayat featured the significance of making these communities mindful of the threats of climate change to make them good to go for such changes.
Significance of Climate Training Featured
Dr. Tariq Cheema underlined the meaning of mainstreaming climate schooling with regards to Pakistan.
He said that being climate proficient isn’t sufficient; one should make a move at the singular level and be climate cognizant.
Dr. Ghulam Ali addressed the public authority’s position on climate training, expressing that the public authority is dynamic in dealing with different parts of climate schooling, which is underway.
