Gwadar’s long-standing problems of electricity and water have been solved, Chief Minister Balochistan
Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudous Bizenjo has said that the long-standing problems related to electricity and water in Gwadar have been resolved.
Talking to journalists, he said that the government has taken bold and historic steps for the development and prosperity of the province.
Unnecessary check posts have been abolished and Gwadar’s long-standing problems with electricity and water have been resolved. We want to facilitate Gwadar to the best of our ability.
He termed the recent inauguration of Iran-Gwadar Power Project in Border Market and Gwadar on Pakistan-Iran border as a ‘positive sign’ for both countries. He said that the annual trade between Pakistan and Iran in the fields of oil, gas, foodstuffs and energy is worth billions of rupees.
The Chief Minister said that the Pakistan-Iran Border Market project was completed at the border town of Rekodak border with the cooperation of Pakistan-Iran.
The Pakistan-Iran border was a historic trade corridor that was of unique importance not only for the two countries but for the entire region.
Chief Minister Bizenjo said that the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as a bridge is attracting massive investment. He said that apart from the huge investment by China, other countries are also interested in investing in CPEC projects
