Islamabad: The 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties #COP27 will be hosted this year by the government of Egypt, in the city of Sharm el-Sheikh from 7-18 November 2022.

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in his message stated that the United Nations Climate Change Conference 2022 (COP27) is an opportunity to show unity against the existential threat of this scourge.
Moreover, El-Sisi also stressed that the #ClimateChange problem can only be overcome through a concerted action at global level.
He assured that Egypt, as chair of the Conference, will spare no effort to move from the negotiation to the implementation of the projects.
He recalled that the holding of the COP27 will mark the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
In those three decades, the world has made great progress in the fight against the scourge and its negative impacts on the planet, he emphasized.
The president also called to work together to promote resilience and improve the capacity for adaptation.
Speaking about the coming delegates for the conference, Environment Minister Yasmin Fouad said that registration for participation in the COP27 summit has been opened since June 24, and that the number of attendees is expected to vary between 25K-30K participants.
She also added that there is high demanding in the requests and registrations to attend COP27 and that hotels at Sharm El Sheikh are prepared to welcome all guests and participating delegations.
