Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani is determined to make the country full of green trees
Karachi : Under the patronage of Pakistan Hindu Council, Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani, the National Plantation Campaign has been formally launched from the city of Karachi under the vision of Green Green Pakistan. The chief guest of the main event of the campaign was the Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Karachi, Dr. Bakhit Atiqur Rahmiti, while on this occasion, the Secretary General of Pakistan Hindu Council Parshotham Ramani, Chief Coordinator Krishan Sagar, Krishan Vankwani, students of various universities, civil society and media were present. Representatives were also present.
Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Hindu Council, Dr. Ramesh Kumar Wankwani, emphasized in his message that trees are God’s priceless blessings that keep our environment free from pollution, and it is the responsibility of every Pakistani citizen to make the planting campaign a religious duty. Like the rest of the world, Pakistan is also a country severely affected by climate change, due to unnecessary cutting of trees, Karachi and other cities have faced extreme heat.
Dr. Ramesh Kumar, in his comments on the plantation campaign, further said that he is trying to establish a role model land full of green trees in the form of Prem Nagar in the most backward district of Tharparkar of Sindh, following the appeal of the Pakistan Hindu Council. In this phase, Hindu minority citizens across the country will participate in the plantation drive in their respective areas.
