Islamabad : To highlight water crisis of Pakistan amid the climate emergency, Pakistan Water Week 2023, a three-day international conference, will commence from December 4, 2023 to December 6, 2023, at Islamabad Serena Hotel.

The event will feature national and international experts, representatives from federal and provincial governments and development partners and cover the water crisis pounded by the climate emergency.

Thee key theme of the conference areas are:

• Climate Resilient Pathways: Adaptation, Mitigation and Sustainable Development for a secure Pakistan.
• Inclusive Water Governance: Exploring New Pathways and Perspectives
• Technologies and Innovations Responding to the Challenges of Water and Food Security

Climate change and environment experts, policy makers and officials will highlight the challenges Pakistan is facing amid the global warming, extreme hot weather that wrecked the country in 2023, causing losses worth billions of rupees in food and agriculture sectors.
