Pakistani companies have been invited to the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) to be held in Azerbaijan, said Deputy Minister of Economy Samad Bashirli at the Azerbaijan-Pakistan Business Forum held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
“Although natural resources play an important role in the country’s economy, Azerbaijan remains committed to environmental sustainability. Hosting COP29 strengthens Azerbaijan’s active role in global discussions on climate change and sustainability.”
